Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum

Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum opened in 1983. The Former Residence of Prince Asaka was one of the first examples in Japan of the Art Deco style. The engineers from the Ministry of the Imperial Household's Bureau of Skilled Artisans led the basic design, while the interiors of a number of major rooms were entrusted to French interior designer Henri Rapin.
