Summer Night Museum 2024 will be held at five venues: TOKYO METROPOLITAN ART MUSEUM, TOKYO METROPOLITAN TEIEN ART MUSEUM, TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC ART MUSEUM, and MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART TOKYO, with TOKYO SHIBUYA KOEN-DORI GALLERY.

Between July 18 (Thu) and August 30 (Fri), there will be special offers available every Friday night (also Thursdays at the TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC ART MUSEUM).
Come enjoy a relaxed summer evening exhibition. The venues look forward to welcoming you.

    The event extends the facility’s opening hours, allowing you to experience it on a summer evening.
    On the Shitamachi-naka Street, where shops reside within restored historic buildings, the nighttime ambiance is transformed with the glow from the building lights and paper lanterns. This creates a unique, bustling atmosphere that’s a different experience from the museum day-to-day. Come feel the cool breeze of the evening among traditional Japanese homes.

“Museum Rally to Solve Mysteries 2024” will be held by National Museum of Art, Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture and Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd.

  • Museum Rally 2024

  • “Museum Rally to Solve Mysteries 2024” a tour in which participants gain access to a special website and visiting seven art museums and one gallery as well as subway stations to solve eight mysteries will be held from July 25(Thu) to September 29(Sun).
    Those who solve all the mysteries will be entered into lottery to win a wonderful prize.
    Please enjoy this new type of experience -based art entertainment, which enables　appreciation of fine art through solving of mysteries associated works of art in the summer of 2024.
