Summer vacation is about to get a lot more interesting! Six Tokyo museums will introduce “Summer Night Museum” – a program that sees opening hours extended to 9p.m. on weekends from July20 to August 26. Summer Night Museum visitors can also enjoy discounts on entry, events such as mini concerts and informative talks, and special offers at museum restaurants. Summer Night Museum allows visitors to experience exhibits at their leisure, making it the perfect program for those wishing to enjoy summer’s evenings after work, school or a day’s sightseeing.

Details Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architecture Museum will also be open to the public until 8:30 p.m. on the weekend of August 5–6. There, visitors can experience special events in the East zone, where a number of shops have been relocated from downtown, including Bon Odori dances and other demonstrations of how Japan spends the summer nights.
