The facilities managed and operated by Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture strives to properly manage the resources and energy to eventually reduce emission of greenhouse gases, including the improvement of efficient operation of lighting and air conditioning systems, complying with the applicable laws including the Act on the Rational Use of Energy and the Ordinance on the Environment to Protect the Health and Security of Tokyo Residents.
Especially for the large-scale facilities like Tokyo Metropolitan Edo-Tokyo Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, we have prepared the countermeasures for the global warming protection based on the Ordinance for Securing Healthy Environment.
